I've fallen in love with Oil paints. "Ol" paints.
They're difficult to clean, yeah. But goddamned they blend SO beautifully. They stay wet for extended periods of time, and most of all.. They LOOK good.
I'm working on an oil version of La Fours (The Green Eye) for the Breadth section of my AP Portfolio.
On top of that I'm thinking I may start doing sequential work (comic style) in ink.

The school year has begun.

Classes are easy, and then there's last block.

Three years in the making, I'm finally top of the top. I'm finally in AP Studio Art.

Damn it feels good to be a gangster.

I'm REALLY considering scanning my sketchbook pages and putting them all in my scraps, so that if they get damaged / lost, I still have them.

I'm not sure though, that's an ass of alot of scanning.

Wooooooh.

I'll let you kids see scans of my sketches though, I'm sure about that..

Our first project : "TREPIDATION"

Now to come up with something from that.

3 New Deviations added - Stencils.. I wasn't sure where to put them.

I didn't include the actual sprays of two of them because I don't have a picture of where I sprayed them.

I also added a new Scrap.. It's a painting I started like.. 7 months ago and NEVER finished.. I may finish it someday.. But.. Not now.. The composition is horrible, the colours suck.. I hate it basically.

So yeah.

I've been in VASA (Visual Arts Summer Academy) for the past week and a half now.

Fun.

I've been doing more work with Ink. Unfortunally the paper (straight Water colour paper) costs more than the ink, and I'm almost out of the paper.

But I love it. Thanks DCFung. MAD PROPS HOMIE.

We should start a community dedicated to inkers.

Hell yeah.

I've got more work coming up :

- Swamp Thing (Ink AND Stencil)
- Something Unexpected (possibly, if DCFung okays it)
- Me and Chris Helms (friend, fellow artist) are talking about painting a mural in my basement for fun / for my AP portfolio. You guys'll be the first to know.
- Stencils. Lots of them.

REAL ink pen.

Which costs me a REAL 3 dollars.

And when I find out what happened to it, someone's going to be in alot of REAL pain.
