A tinge of politics involved.
My VERY FIRST ink artwork. It's a bit tougher than I estimated, as you can see by ALOT of bumps in the lines, and crookedness.

I'll probably re-do this eventually, when I get more skill with ink.

Oh yeah! I'm not much on critiques, since i'm very much with the opinion that everything's really "eye of the beholder" but since you asked... Ummm... basically I like it. I would probably have made my earth perfectly circular since I'm pretty crazy on proportions, and probably also would have added shadows and blacked out the bottom half of the globe since I fetishizes the black. I find that dropping shadows and excessive ink tends to give everything more of a depth and a weight, the risk is going overboard. Anyways, those are all style issues. This rocks and i'm looking forward to seeing more inks from ya.

Oh yeah, the world is DEFINITALLY oblong, especially in the upper left hand corner..

But..

I don't own a compass - it's the next thing on my list.

Next up : SWAMP THING!
